Success story:
MindVision Software

Having spent in excess of $100,000 to celebrate a product launch at MacWorld San Francisco 2000, MindVision Software found themselves with a greatly reduced budget ($10,000) for a booth at MacWorld San Fransisco 2001 -- yet they still desired good-looking booth. As an added challenge, the 10x20 foot booth also had to accommodate 4 other affiliate vendors.

Knowing that just one pre-fabricated booth display would break the small budget, I researched alternative materials. I ordered custom trusses from one company, and custom metal tables from another. Together with printed signage and carpeting purchased in San Francisco (to save on shipping), the entire project fit within the allowed budget.

The booth was to promote MindVision's e-commerce system, eSellerate. eSellerate's logo is a rocket and the truss structure, along with the custom brushed metal tables gave the booth a "mission control" look. And although 5 total vendors were a bit crowded in a 10x20 space, the tables allowed each to talk with customers, show off their software, and the tables even provided hidden storage.
