In late 2000, the outreach coordinator of this Alfred P. Sloan Foundation-funded program contacted me to have the website redesigned. Although the information provided by the website was fairly complete, the design needed a more professional look. (The website was originally created by a non-designer.) I did the initial redesign in the fourth quarter of 2000, and have done two subsequent redesigns on this site.

One of these redesign projects featured the addition of a Professional Science Master's Degree program database (with a PHP-based content management system).

The site has earned high praise from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, and from officials at institutions involved in the Professional Science Master's Degree initiative.

The content management system allows for easy updates of information on institutions involved in the program. (A part-time student employee handles these updates.) It can also accomodate the program's continuing growth in the United States and, more recently, in Canada.
