Success Story:
National Multiple Sclerosis Society
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society wanted to improve their communication with teens with MS. The MS Society found their current marketing materials too "medical-looking" for this audience and was seeking for ways to improve their offering to this age group. The content for this audience needed to be informative and upbeat, while covering heavily-emotional content.

Puppetshow NEW MEDIA proposed a Flash-based CD presentation to engage these teens. This would allow the MS society to add a level of interactivity through quizzes, video clips from other teens with MS and music. The "Get Comfortable" slogan was also presented in conjunction with a red chair theme. Throughout the CD, the red chair is included in images of teens at the movies, watching sports, gathered at the coffee shop and at the mall.

The new logo helped loose the medical look. And the "Get Comfortable" slogan really helped to pull the message together. Past teen interviews consistently mentioned the need to be "normal" kids. They don't want to be coddled. They want to do the same activities they did before, but needed to know how to "Get Comfortable" doing what they used to do, and how to cope with potential symptoms.
