Client hired a multi-media company to produce a live show/intercactive presentation at the Las Vegas convention Center in 02. Said company failed to produce the prelim presentation the day before and I was called with less than 24 hrs notice.
Solution? Took the red eye, and re-authored the presentation on a laptop from the back of a speeding cab at 4 a.m.
Show went off at 9 a.m. and turned out to be one of the biggest turnouts in nearly a decade. Show manager was later promoted to V.P. of development and has shown me the love ever since.
