Send us your news
Consider Creative Latitude your practice's very own soapbox. So, hop on and send us your news, industry kudos, project announcements, etc. and we'll post them in this section.

You can submit press and news releases as Word docs or within the body of an email message. Also, if you have images to go with your nouns and verbs, shoot them on over, too. They make for a prettier page. Hey, so we're visual kinda people. They also help show off your wares. Jpegs and/or gifs are fine, but you can also send tiff, eps files or pretty much anything else. We've got software and we're not afraid to use it. Let's try to keep them at around 72 dpi, so our hosting service doesn't freak when you try to email us your stunning 28 meg high-res file.

Please be sure to include your contact information. A phone number is nice too. On occasion, we've had to contact people to let them know their participle is dangling. Speaking of dangling participles, we may do some editing on your release. But don't sweat it. We'll run them by you before posting things to the site.

Send your glowing narrative to: news@creativelatitude.com and please put 'Member news' in the subject line. Oh, wait a second. We already did that for you. Aren't we nice? Now you've got an extra nanosecond of billable time. See? We're lookin' out for you.

Below are some ideas to get you started:
  • New client(s)?
  • Completed any killer projects?
  • Success stories? How did you make your client shine?
  • Have you won an award lately?
  • Juried any award shows?
  • Hired anyone?
  • Offering any new services?
  • Have you recently moved to a new location or opened another office?
  • Partnered with anybody?
  • Writing a book?
  • Been elected to some post or office on a board or committee?
  • Going to give a lecture or seminar?
  • Get an article publish somewhere?
  • Been involved with a nifty pro bono or public service project?

That should jump start your efforts. Be sure to include who, what, when, where and why, just like they taught you in school. And you thought you'd never use that stuff. Ha!

One final note. The releases should be valid news. Sorry, no blatant ads.
