Jeff Fisher LogoMotives Featured in
Letterhead and Logo Retrospective
Jeff Fisher LogoMotives,
a Portland design firm, is prominently featured in the new
Rockport Publishers retrospective "The
Best of Letterhead and Logo Design." Eight logos by the
designer are in the volume, which contains examples of identity
and stationery package design from previous books in the "Letterhead
and Logo Design" series. The book is currently available
at through major bookstores and online.
The logos featured include those for Portland firms Carmen
Schleiger Architecture, City Laundry Northwest, law firm Samuels
Yoelin Kantor Seymour & Spinrad, Denny Shleifer Marketing
Communications and hairstylist Jeff Maul. The image for the
nonprofit group Love Makes A Family was also selected for the
book. The San Francisco nonprofit Laugh Line Productions is
also featured. In association with his sister’s Bend,
Oregon firm TriAd, the designer created the included identity
for the company Gina’s Italy.
Jeff Fisher, the Engineer of Creative Identity, has received
over 450 regional, national and international graphic design
awards for his logo and corporate identity efforts. His work
is featured in more than 65 publications on the design of logos,
the business of graphic design, and small business marketing.
Fisher’s first book, "The
Savvy Designer’s
Guide to Success," is to be released by HOW Design Books
in 2004. The book is now available for pre-sale at Amazon.com
