Tekworks Consulting - After
by Erin McCall

AFTER:

Tekworks logo after

I designed the logo with three goals in mind: to use a friendly font,
friendly color, and to represent computer networking in some fashion. The new logo uses a bright and cheerful green to catch the eye, Frutiger as the font, and the negative circle space running through the squares is an abstract representation of a computer network (each square as a separate computer or hub).

The reaction to the new logo has been very positive and has launched further branding projects. The new logo has been applied to new business cards, letterhead, a brochure, a website, sales sheets, advertisements, and vehicle graphics.

Alina's Feedback:

Erin's redesign of the Tekworks' logo presents a stronger, friendlier, more contemporary look for the company. The thin, lightning bolt appearance of the old logo was looking dated, weak and unfriendly as Erin stated. While it may have had the look of speed, it did not convey a solidarity, strength and competence that the new logo offers. The use of the white circle running through the squares and encompassing the firm's name draws your eye in and could even be seen as a "bulls-eye" target, showing this firm hits the mark. In addition, the circle unifies the firm's name with the network of blocks.
