Success story:
In 1999, Netscape Communications Corp. was looking for an icon designer to redesign their browser icons. Artsource, a staffing agency, placed me on the project. Netscape wanted to redesign their icons so that there was a consistency in look and feel. They also wanted to add a "flavor" to the icons giving them a personable and fun feel for the end user.

The icon project took over 2 months to work on. After presenting 3 concepts for the look and feel we decided on a single look and the final icons were rendered.Approximately 94 icons were produced including icons for their AOL Messenger software.

The icons were used in their beta phase of their 6.0 browser giving the browser a consistent and unified look. The icons appeared in their online free mail accounts until mid 2002. However, the icons have been redesigned to match their three-dimensional look.
